FCS Donation in Honor of Lori Blankenship

FCS President Hunter Holmes presents Dewey and Doris Jackson from the Gideons International a check in the amount of $1,930 at a student body assembly last Wednesday.  The money will be used to send 1,420 New Testament Bibles internationally to children in 3rd World Countries.  The bibles will be written in their native language.  The FCS students conducted this project in memory of Lori Blankenship an 8th grade Language Arts Teacher at Greenback School.  Students were offered the opportunity to buy a bible in Mrs. Blankenship's memory for $1.35 each. They far exceeded their original goal set at 200 bibles.
