Meet the Teacher: Wes Caldwell

My name is Wes Caldwell and I am excited to begin my first year at Greenback School. I will be working as a Direct Service Provider and Inclusion Teacher for grades 6-10. Mark Maxwell and Sarah Moffett are experienced paraprofessionals that will also work with the groups that I will be serving. Mr. Maxwell will work with grades 9-10 providing in class support for Reading and Mathematics, while Mrs. Moffett will provide those same supports for grades 6-8. Additionally, both will provide direct service support in the pull out setting to assist students in areas targeted for growth and improvement. My duties will consist of providing in class Reading and Math support in general education classes for grades 6-10, as well as providing direct service to students with exceptional needs in these areas. During reading interventions, we will be using the Wilson Reading Program. During math, we will use programs that meet the unique needs of each individual served. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I will also serve as the Head Baseball Coach and Assistant Football Coach.
