Loudon County Schools is excited to offer a unique partnership between the Tennessee Department of Education and the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation (GELF) for our pre-K through 3rd-grade families.  Through the partnership, pre-K through 3rd-grade families will have free access to a research‐based text messaging program from Ready4K that will help continue your child’s learning at home.

Families are juggling a lot right now, and on top of that, we know that you are working hard to help your children keep learning despite an unprecedented year. We are excited about Ready4K because it provides a unique and simple opportunity for you to help support your child’s learning:

• through the delivery of three texts weekly with fun facts and tips to provide you with simple, engaging tips to help your child continue to learn while at home.
• through messages that match each child’s age, even if you have more than one child.
• and through Ready4K tips that build on your daily routines, like getting dressed, bath time, or preparing a meal.

The goal of the program is to help provide additional educational support and ideas to use at home.  If you would prefer not to receive these text messages once they begin, you can choose to unsubscribe at any time by texting STOP to 70138.
