Attention: PARENTS of STUDENTS WHO RIDE BUS 17 There will be one load today and tomorrow for Bus 17. Students who rode 2nd load last year will get home much earlier today and tomorrow than they did last year. We will update you asap Wednesday to let you know if there will be 1 or 2 loads moving forward this school year.

Greenback School will comply with the new state law passed by the TN General Assembly, HB 932, which prohibits students from having wireless communication devices (cell phones, smart watches, gaming systems, etc.) in their possession during the school day (7:30-3:05). Students can bring devices to school, but they must be turned off and stored away.

We ask that every family completes a free/reduced application this school year. An application needs to be filled out for each student in the family. Applications will be available on registration day. The easiest way to complete the application is to use the online version. The RIO Revolution Church annual Helping Hands event is this Saturday, July 26 at Greenback School! The event begins at 9 AM.

Greenback students will begin the new school year on a soft, or "staggered" start.

Greenback School Registration Day! Registration Day for all students will be held on Thursday, July 31 from 8AM to 3 PM. This is a change from the district's calendar for '25-'26. Friday, Aug. 1 will now be an Administrative Day (No Students). Registration Day is for new and returning students.

PreK-8th Grade Supply lists

COMING SOON: Supply lists for 2025-2026 will be posted to the Greenback School website no later than Monday, July 21.

High school varsity softball tryouts will be on July 17 from 6-8 PM at the Greenback School softball field. Bring a current completed physical form. Softball attire is required.

Middle school football workouts begin on Monday, July 14 at 6PM. Any upcoming middle school student interested in playing can sign up on Monday evening.

Greenback School will hold registration day on Thursday, July 31. This is a change from the Loudon County Schools' district calendar.

Registration for ALL students will be held on Thursday, July 31 from 8 AM to 3 PM. School fees can be paid at this time.

High school students can preview their '25-'26 class schedules on July 23 and 24. Follow the times below to meet with the guidance counselors.

July 23
9 AM to 12 noon - Seniors
12 noon to 3 PM - Juniors

July 24
9 AM to 12 noon - Sophomores
12 noon to 3 PM - Freshmen

Student parking permits for 2025-2026 will be sold on July 23 & 24!

The middle school softball team will have a summer practice this Thursday, July 10 from 6-8 PM. This is for all girls already on the team, and an open tryout for any rising 6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls who are interested in playing. Please bring an updated physical form!

Groundbreaking ceremony for the new Greenback School athletic facilities. Go 'Kees!

The Loudon County Board of Education is hosting a groundbreaking for the new athletic additions at Greenback School. The groundbreaking is Thursday, June 12 at 7:30 PM. The event will take place at the back of the school. The public is invited to attend!

Greenback baseball tryouts for tonight (6/9/25) have been cancelled due to field conditions and the threat of bad weather.
